VIDEO/PHOTOS: A father and five children have been pulled safely from a truck that became stuck in the floodwaters of the Molalla River.
Multiple agencies responded to pull them to safety. KATU’s Mike Warner was live at the scene and captured the entire event. A neighbor told KATU News that the family was new to the neighborhood.
“My neighbor called me from his vehicle, he lives down the road from me and was trying to drive out this morning, couldn’t go any further, asked for help, knew we couldn’t get down there,” said Linda Fisher. Each person was safely removed from the truck and put on a raft and taken to safety.
