Firefighters responded to multiple calls reporting flames in a southern Utah city, finding three separate fires threatening structures.
Crews were dispatched to the fires in Toquerville shortly after midnight on Friday, according to officials with the Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue. The fires were actively spreading in the area of Toquerville Boulevard and Shady Lane. With winds between 28 and 48 mph, the fire was spreading and threatening the buildings nearby.
