Firefighters with the West Sacramento Fire Department battled a fully involved apartment fire Wednesday night that displaced 10 residents.
According to fire officials, firefighters responded to the Courtyard Village Apartments after reports of a structure fire in an upstairs unit.
Engine 41 arrived to find the upper apartment fully engulfed in flames, WSFD said. Crews quickly deployed hose lines and launched an aggressive fire attack while additional units assisted with suppression efforts.
Firefighters also used ground ladders to reach the roof and performed vertical ventilation to release heat and smoke, helping crews bring the blaze under control.
All occupants were able to exit the building safely before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported, officials said.
