VIDEO: A Bay Park deck fire displaced one person on Monday.
The Nassau County Fire Marshal’s Office says the East Rockaway Fire Department was alerted to a deck fire on Waterview Street at around 2:15 p.m.
Once arriving on scene, the firefighters saw that a single-family house was on fire.
There were about 70 firefighters on scene, and the Nassau County Fire Marshal Drone unit and Hazardous Materials Division were requested to assist.
