VIDEO: Spokane County Fire District (SCFD) 10 Assistant Chief Andres Steevens says a home that was under renovation on Rambo Road in Medical Lake caught fire Sunday morning. Steevens says they responded to a 911 call about the fire around 6:30 a.m., and when crews got to the scene, the fire was going through the roof. SCFD says once crews saw the initial fire, they upgraded the call to get more resources on site to put the fire out.
Steevens says the fire caused the entire home to be “uninhabitable.” He added that one person was inside at the time of the fire, and they woke up, saw the fire and then went outside to call 911. SCFD says that the two people living at the home have been displaced and there were no injuries reported.
