East Central High School’s CTE welding class recently built and donated some new gear racks for one Jackson County fire station. Mr. Lawson’s class donated the turnout racks to firefighters at the county’s Helena station.

Jackson County Fire Protection officials say the hard work and dedication of the class will help keep firefighters organized and ready to serve. They say they are grateful for the students’ skill, effort, and community spirit.
