St. Louis Fire Dept. mourns death of firefighter

The St. Louis Fire Department is mourning the death of one of its firefighters. On Monday, the St. Louis Fire Department announced the passing of Franchot O’Neal, an active member who served 33 years as a firefighter with the department. “Firefighter O’Neal devoted his life to serving others with professionalism and unwavering dedication. His kindness, compassion and presence touched countless lives within our department and throughout the community he proudly served,” the St. Louis Fire Department wrote.

Funeral services in honor of O’Neal are being planned, and the department will share more information on those arrangements when it becomes available.
