Crews in San Jose extinguished a fire early Friday morning involving large tires and vegetation, fire officials said. The San Jose Fire Department said crews responded to an outside fire near Old Bayshore Highway and East Gish Road at 4:43 a.m.
The blaze involved large tires used for heavy machinery along with nearby vegetation. Firefighters knocked down the flames, and no structures were damaged, fire officials said. No injuries were reported. Crews remained at the scene later Friday morning.
