Tulsa firefighters rescue man from roof at construction site

Share

Tulsa Fire Department crews rescued an unresponsive man from the roof of a construction site near East 61st Street and South Memorial Drive.

TFD’s Robotics Team and Ladder 20 responded to the scene and found the roof was dangerously steep, creating hazards for both rescuers and the unresponsive man, according to authorities.

The Robotics Team used a drone to assess the roof conditions and help crews identify potential hazards. After identifying the hazards, Tulsa Fire Rescue crews set up a rope system to safely reach and lower the man from the roof. The man was then transferred to EMSA for further treatment.
