Swingle Collins & Associates Appoints Curtis as CEO

Swingle Collins & Associates announced the appointment of Dan Curtis as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 31, 2026.

In conjunction with the appointment, Founder and CEO Frank Swingle will transition to the role of Executive Chairman, where he will continue to provide strategic guidance to the organization.

Curtis joined Swingle Collins one year ago as President, quickly establishing himself as a transformative leader committed to the agency’s core values of passion, expertise, advocacy, collaboration, and empathy.

His elevation to CEO reflects the board’s confidence in his vision and his ability to lead the company through its next chapter of growth and innovation.

With over thirty years of experience spanning the logistics and financial sectors, Curtis brings deep expertise and a proven track record of leadership to his new role. Prior to joining Swingle Collins, he served as COO of TriumphPay, the open payments network for freight brokers, factors, shippers, and carriers in the trucking industry.

Before that, he served as President & CEO of BNSF Logistics and has held senior leadership roles at Greatwide Logistics Services, Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, and Ernst & Young.

As CEO, Curtis will guide Swingle Collins through phases of and innovation and expansion as the agency explores new technologies, service offerings and partners across complex middle market commercial, high net worth personal, and employee benefits insurance.

F rank Swingle, as Executive Chairman, will remain engaged with the organization, leveraging his more than four decades of industry leadership to provide counsel and continuity.
