Sula Volunteer Fire District buys new water tender with money earned from Forest Service

Share

The Sula Rural Volunteer Fire District announced it bought a new water tender using money it earned working with the Forest Service in 2025.

The fire district announced the purchase on Tuesday alongside pictures of the new water tender decorated with an emergency stripe and the Sula Fire logo on it. The truck has the number 9020 on the hood.

The fire district said the purchase means it has two new tenders that are “ideal for our rural district” due to their ability to bring new capabilities to locations off paved roads.
