Stabbing victim seeks help at Sacramento fire station, police investigating

A stabbing victim sought help at a Sacramento fire station Thursday afternoon, prompting an investigation from the police department.

Officers with the Sacramento Police Department responded just after 4:30 p.m. to the 2500 block of Rio Linda Boulevard in north Sacramento following reports that someone had been stabbed.

Officials with the Sacramento Fire Department reported the victim walked up to Fire Station 20 along Rio Linda Boulevard seeking help.

Fire crews treated the person, who was in stable condition, before transporting them to a local hospital, authorities said. Sacramento police reported the stabbing occurred at Hagginwood Park.
