A semi hauling hay caught fire Tuesday morning near Garland. According to a spokesperson with Utah Highway Patrol, the vehicle was hauling hay on an I-15 off ramp at SR-30. Some of the hay reportedly caught fire. Crews arrived on scene to put out the flames. The off ramp was closed.
The Utah Department of Transportation first reported the incident just after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Officials estimated the clearance time to be approximately 11:30 a.m. Northbound I-15 traffic appeared to be open and operating normally.
