Tuesday night’s Richland City Council meeting was a night of heartfelt recognitions and introductions. Fire Chief Tom Huntington was honored for his retirement after more than 31 years of service to the city. Mayor Richardson presented Chief Huntington with a plaque, acknowledging his leadership and impact on Richland Fire & Emergency Services.
Mayor Pro Tem Sandra Kent was also recognized as she prepares to conclude her council term on December 31, 2025. Appointed to the Richland City Council in 2008, Kent brought over 20 years of experience in regulatory compliance and management.
