Guam Fire Department responds to grass, debris fire in Talo’fo’fo’; Malesso’ grass fire inaccessible

The Guam Fire Department responded to reports of smoke sighted across Notre Dame High School in Talo’fo’fo’ late Thursday morning. The fire involved grass and debris, GFD spokesperson Lt. Nick Garrido said.

“Units are currently on scene, and extinguishment efforts are ongoing,” he said. Garrido said a separate grass fire in Malesso’ has been active since early Thursday morning. “However, it has been inaccessible for units to extinguish,” he added.
