PHOTOS: A man and a woman were hospitalized after two traffic crashes late Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning. At about 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, Guam Police Department spokesperson Norman Analista shared two traffic advisories for separate collisions.

The first occurred at 10:37 p.m. on Wednesday when GPD units responded to an auto-pole crash near Wusstig Road in Dededo. A woman, according to Analista, was hospitalized at Guam Regional Medical City after sustaining injuries in the collision but was in stable condition.

Analista added southbound lanes were closed for about four hours but were open as of 4:30 a.m. The Guam Fire Department also responded to the collision and transported the woman, according to spokesperson Nick Garrido, who confirmed a vehicle overturned.

A photo of the crash scene showed the vehicle still overturned on Route 1 just before the Wusstig Road traffic light at about 1 a.m. While units were on the scene of the collision in Dededo, additional GPD units responded to another auto-pole collision in Chalan Pago at about 2:30 a.m.
