Firefighters battle house fire near Triangle Lake, Hwy 36 traffic impacted

VIDEOS/PHOTOS: Crews responded to a house fire Thursday morning in the 19000 block of Highway 36 near Triangle Lake in Lane County. Heavy smoke could be seen coming from the structure as firefighters doused the flames.

When fire firefighters arrived, it was a fully involved blaze. Lane Fire Authority provided automatic aid to support Lake Creek Fire and Rescue for the fire.

The incident occurred at a shoreline property that was not used as a primary residence and was unoccupied at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

In accordance with the automatic response agreement, Lane Fire Authority deployed one fire engine, one water tender, and one chief officer to assist with fire suppression and incident command operations.
