Firefighter suffers minor burns in Tracy house fire

VIDEO: A firefighter suffered minor injuries in a Tracy house fire early Thursday morning. A home on Midway Road in Tracy was heavily involved in flames when fire crews responded around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the South San Joaquin County Fire Authority.

Fire officials said after an aggressive attack, they were able to bring the fire under control in roughly 20 minutes. One firefighter suffered minor burns and was treated on scene, fire officials said in the social media post. The occupants inside the home escaped safely. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Four fire engines and a ladder truck, totaling 16 personnel, responded to the incident.
