Fire extinguished from 11th floor of Honolulu high-rise condo

Honolulu firefighters worked to put out a fire at a high-rise condominium in Waikiki on Tuesday afternoon.

The Honolulu Fire Department received a 911 call about a building fire at 400 Hobron Ln. (The Villa on Eaton Square) in Waikiki at 2:44 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026. When firefighters arrived at the scene, there was no smoke or flames coming out of the condo that they saw at ground level.

Firefighters investigated the building and found a fire in a unit on the 11th floor. They conducted an offensive fire attack and made sure no one was inside.

The fire was under control at 3 p.m. and it was fully extinguished it a minute later. There were no injuries reported from the scene.

A fire investigator is looking into the origin of the fire as well as the cause. Damage estimates will be provided once the investigation is complete.
