Commercial building destroyed in Dubuque County fire, no injuries reported

VIDEO/PHOTOS: A commercial building housing multiple businesses was destroyed in a fire Tuesday afternoon in Dubuque County, authorities said. The fire was reported around 3:51 p.m. at 951 Highway 136 near Cascade. When crews arrived, the building was fully engulfed in flames.

Fire departments from Cascade, Monticello, Farley, Bernard and Dyersville responded, along with the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office. Crews were able to extinguish the fire.

Authorities said the building housed Green Truck Line Inc., Finzel Repair and Noonan Trucking LLC. The structure and its contents — including semi tractors and repair equipment — are considered a total loss, with damage estimated at about $1 million. No injuries were reported.
