Langston firefighters injured in Logan County crash

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital Friday morning after a crash along State Highway 74 in Logan County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, firefighters with the Langston Fire Department were travelling south on State Highway 74 near E0640 Road when they were struck by a semi-truck travelling in the opposite direction.

OHP said the firefighters were returning home from assisting with storm damage recovery in Enid when the crash happened.

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital for treatment. No names have been released. All lanes of State Highway 74 were closed in the area but are expected to reopen soon, officials say.
