Developed by Oshkosh Corporation’s Pratt Miller Motorsports business and field-tested on Pierce fire apparatus, CAMS integrates radar, computer vision and AI to detect and track approaching vehicles, issuing audible alerts when collision risks emerge. The technology was recently recognized with a CES Picks Award, highlighting its breakthrough safety impact for first responders.

Oshkosh Airport Products to showcase United States Air Force Striker 6×6 with Snozzle at FDIC International 2026
APPLETON, Wis. — Oshkosh Airport Products, an Oshkosh Corporation business, will showcase a Striker 6×6 Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicle configured with a 50-foot Snozzle High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET) at FDIC International 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana, from April 22-25. The vehicle, built for the United States Air Force (USAF), demonstrates advanced firefighting performance designed for demanding operational environments and will be on display outside the convention center.
The Striker ARFF provides exceptional reach and precision for firefighting operations, enabling responders to deliver fire suppression agent directly to elevated or hard-to-access areas. The turret extends operational capability for aircraft incidents and structural firefighting scenarios, supporting rapid suppression and complete incident control.
Built on a 6×6 chassis and powered by a Scania DC16 engine, the vehicle delivers responsive acceleration and strong performance. It features a water capacity of 3,170 gallons (12,000 liters) and a foam capacity of 444 gallons (1,680 liters), providing extended firefighting capability during critical operations.

Hannay Reels blazes into FDIC International 2026 with high-performance hose and cable reels for firefighting vehicles
WESTERLO, N.Y. — Hannay Reels will showcase its line of high-performing fire and rescue reels at FDIC International from April 20–25, 2026, taking place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind. They will be located in booth 4141, exhibiting the SBEF hose reel and ECR1600 cable reel, which deliver big performance in tight spaces.
The SBF for Booster Hose reels are constructed of aluminum and weigh up to 30% less than standard booster reels. The reels can handle 3/4-in. or 1-in. I.D. hose, reaching pressures as high as 1,000 psi.
The SBF for Booster Hose reels include a chain-and-sprocket drive powered by an electric motor, whereas a gear-driven crank rewind with a pinion brake is standard for a manual reel. Booster hose reels are used as a quick first-attack for small fires or while larger-volume hoses are being set up. These reels are ideal for fire trucks, as well as for various UTVs and skid units.
CR1600 Manual or Power Rewind Reels for Live Cable are fast and efficient, and powered by a chain-and-sprocket drive with an electric motor. The standard version features a three-conductor, 45-amp collector assembly. These reels are ideal in critical situations when rescue tools, on-site power and lighting are needed.
