Firefighters, family members and friends gathered at the Tulsa Fire Museum on Friday to celebrate the life of former Tulsa Fire Department Captain Ronald “Ron” Reed.
TFD said Captain Reed dedicated more than 30 years to the department, serving his community with pride, humility and an unwavering sense of duty.
To him, the fire service was a calling and the brotherhood he built become family, TFD said.
TFD said Captain Reed will be remembered for his commitment to others, his love for his family and the impact he made on generations of firefighters.
The department added that it is grateful to have a place like the Tulsa Fire Museum where families, friends and colleagues can come together to honor those who have given so much.
