VIDEO: Fire in San Diego County destroys residence, crews knock down blaze

Crews with the Valley Center Fire Protection District have knocked down a two-alarm residential fire that left a property destroyed on Via Valencia.

The call was received around 3:14 p.m. on Thursday for a residence located at 30325 Via Valencia. The fire has reportedly been contained since. According to crews, no injuries have been reported.

A chopper flew over the scene, showing multiple units and crews spraying the property that has been reduced to ash and rubble. The residence appears to be across the street from the Happy Heart Haven animal sanctuary.
