Revola Dugway Fire starts in Duchesne County, burns 36 acres

A new fire has started in Duchesene County and has burned 36 acres. According to Utah Fire Info, there is a new fire start south of Upalco in Duchesne County. This fire, which has been titled the Revola Dugway Fire, burned 36 acres. It is now 25% contained.

Notably, this is one of several significant fires that Utah has seen this week. On Tuesday, a human-caused brush fire broke out in Fort Duchesne and burned a total of 20 acres, in addition to causing closures on US-40.

A firefighter was hospitalized during this incident. In 2026, so far, there have been 47 different fires burning a total of 230 acres, according to Utah Fire Info. Of those fires, 39 have been human-caused, and eight have an undetermined cause.
