The Three Forks Volunteer Fire Department recently hosted its annual awards banquet, recognizing members for their commitment and service to the community. Ian Schilf was awarded Firefighter of the Year, and Summer Griffis was named Rookie of the Year.
The winner of the Training Excellence Award was Dave Whitesitt. The Jaws Award for most calls was given to Chief Keith Aune, and Assistant Chief Charles Eastty was given the Halligan Award for second most calls.
The recipient of the Pike Pole Award for the third most calls was Trevor Aune. Schilf was also recognized for Five Years of Service with the department.
During the banquet, firefighters were also recognized with a Life Save/Extrication Award for their exceptional work on emergency scenes.
