Methven to Succeed Millaire as CyberCube CEO

Share

CyberCube has named Chris Methven its new CEO, replacing Pascal Millaire, who has been the leader of the cyber risk modeling and analytics company since it has operated as a standalone company.

Methven has been Cyber Cube’s chief growth officer since April 2020. Prior to CyberCube, he was chief revenue officer for supply chain risk analytics business Achilles.

“I have spent the last six years working directly with our clients and the wider market,” said Methven, in a statement. “I’m very much looking forward to leading the next phase of the company’s growth and development, building on the strong foundations already in place.”

CyberCube was established with Symantec—where Millaire held executive roles—in 2015, and has been a standalone company since 2018. Millaire will remain involved in a role of senior advisor.

CyberCube said the CEO change “marks the next phase in the company’s development.” It recently received a $180 million investment from Spectrum Equity. At this time, CyberCube also said former Verisk CEO Scott Stephenson was named chair of the Board of Directors.

Stephenson said Methven’s “deep knowledge of the business means this transition will be seamless for both our people and our clients.” He also thanked Millaire, and credited him for guiding CyberCube “to a position of strength, providing a platform for future growth.”

Last year CyberCube launched a new tool, called Exposure Manager. It also released Version 6.0 of Portfolio Manager, its flagship product.
