6 people taken to the hospital after trailer fire in Anchorage

Share

The Anchorage Fire Department responded to a fire at a trailer park in Muldoon that sent six people to the hospital. According to Capt. Ryan Sorsdahl, the fire began inside the trailer and broke out through the window. The condition of the six people is not known.

Though the damage from the outside didn’t look extreme, Sorsdahl said all the furniture inside was burned, and there were multiple truss failures in the roof system. Because of those truss failures, the firefighters didn’t go back inside.
