PHOTOS: Hillsboro Fire responded to an apartment fire early Friday morning. Crews were dispatched to the 100 block of NW Bailey Avenue at about 4:20 a.m. on the report of a fire in a four-unit apartment building. When firefighters arrived, they found smoke and fire in one of the units, officials said.

“During the fire, there was a report of a person that may have still been inside one of the units,” said Piseth Pich with Hillsboro Fire. “Firefighters searched the reported unit but didn’t find anyone.” The other units were searched, and no one was found. Officials say no injuries were reported, but one person did seek medical attention.
