Officials say they located a deceased individual inside a camp trailer after it caught fire. According to a social media post from the Helper City Police Department (HCPD), they were dispatched alongside the Helper City Fire Department to a structure fire around 7:24 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
The fire involved a camp trailer that was fully engulfed. After they were able to extinguish the fire, they found an adult male inside who was deceased. At this time, HCPD did not specify whether the individual died as a result of the fire or due to other reasons. Additionally, they said that they will not be releasing any additional details at this time, due to the fact that this is an ongoing investigation. HCPD added, “The family of the male have been notified, and our sincerest condolences go out to them in this extremely difficult time.”
