Downers Grove, IL, May 4, 2026 — The Property & Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB) announced the launch of the PLRB Advanced Coverage Education (PACE) program, a new professional designation designed to help claims professionals deepen their coverage knowledge, strengthen decision-making skills, and support more consistent and accurate claims outcomes.

PACE provides a structured learning path that blends foundational insurance education with opportunities for specialization and advanced claims training. The program was developed in response to member company feedback and the industry’s growing need for accessible, high-quality education that supports both individual career growth and organizational performance.

“PACE reflects PLRB’s long-standing commitment to delivering practical, high-value education for claims professionals,” said Bryan Falchuk, President & CEO. “This designation gives professionals a clear pathway to build their expertise, strengthen their claims skills, and demonstrate their knowledge to employers and peers, ultimately enabling them to contribute more effectively to their teams and policyholders.”

The PACE program includes:

  • Core Curriculum: A foundation in insurance basics and the claims process
  • Business Line Tracks: Launching with Residential Property and expanding into Commercial, Casualty, and Auto to support deeper expertise across the industry
  • Claims Intensives: Focused electives exploring essential topics such as fraud, ethics, and other complex claims issues
  • Comprehensive Assessment: A final evaluation demonstrating mastery of advanced coverage concepts

“PACE was designed for professionals at every stage of their careers,” said Michael Brode, VP, Meetings & Education. “Whether someone is new to claims or looking to advance into more complex coverage work, this designation program provides the structure and depth needed to grow with confidence.”

As part of PLRB’s commitment to member value, certification courses within the PACE program are included in PLRB Membership, and designation fees are discounted for employees of member companies.
